Text for wedding invitations
On this occasion, I will limit myself to develop the different formulas on the content of it in terms of personal circumstances and the type of wedding you are going to perform.
In either case, and welcoming us to the more traditional syntax, the differences come marked by selection, you decide who will issue the invitation:
If they are your parents:
correct placement is:
- Parents of the bride to the left.
- The groom's right.
In the event that one parent is deceased, the best option would bring. Example: "Perez-Garcia family" and "Sanchez-Lopez family." Or in the middle of all the names of parents who are with you.
Regarding the most common word for these invitations are:
- "We are pleased to invite you to the marriage / link our children ......"
- "You are invited to the wedding of our children ..."
- "We took the link / marriage of our children ..."
But beware! Be very aware that in the case of using the word "participate",> you are simply communicating the news, not formally invited. As usual is that besides giving the good news, invite the recipient, will be added after any of the following texts:
- "And we are pleased to invite you to the ceremony on ................ and then join the celebration .............. .. ".
This formula is appropriate when the ceremony and reception are held on the same day the link. We can not forget that there are cases rare, in which the ceremony takes place on different days of the feast, either because the place is very small or because the very desire of the parties.
If they are the bride and groom.
The names of both would be placed in the center, with or without last names
The texts for these invitations can be:
- "We were married and we are pleased to invite you to the ceremony and celebration ...".
- "We are pleased to inform you and invite you to our next link that will take place on ...".
- "We got married and we would do in your company ...".
Sometimes there are invitations from the bride and groom separately for their respective guests.
In this case the appropriate phrase is:
- "Peter and I were married, the day ...." or "Mary and I were married, the day ...".
A final possibility is that they do together:
If they are the bride and groom and parents:
In this case put the name of the parties with their parents in parentheses:
- "Peter and Mary together with our parents (Pedro Pérez, Mercedes García, María Sánchez and Juan Lopez) or simply" Peter and Mary together with our families. "
Of course, I will not forget the last possibility, which grooms the link wants to communicate with their children.
In addition to placing the names and texts you will have to choose the means by which you will make your guests arrive, email, mail or personal delivery.
